Chinese Wand Exercises

The Chinese Wand is a safe, effective, and fun way to start your morning. It is also a relaxing, invigorating and enjoyable exercise and health system to perform. Developed from ancient Chinese wisdom about health, the wand helps to balance bodily functions and Chi (Internal Energy) as it improves strength, cardiovascular fitness, inner strength, flexibility, balance and more. Appropriate for anyone, no matter what age or ability. The exercises are done without strain, thereby strengthening the muscles gently, keeping joints supple, improving posture and balance. Designed to mobilize the joints, stretch the muscles, improve blood circulation and concentration. We will use a 4 foot stick to exercise, relieve tension and activate the bodies healing energies. Sticks/Chinese Wands will be available in class for purchase if you do not have one.
