King's T'ai Chi and Chi Kung
The last Saturday of each April is called World Tai Chi
and Chi Kung Day. At that time everyone, in their own locality, gathers and
practices/demos Tai Chi to bring attention to this ancient art and the
wonderful benefits it has to offer all people.
In Lakewood we have been celebrating World Tai Chi Day since 1999. We heard about this event that was being planned to celebrate Tai Chi by everyone gathering on an appointed time and date and thought it sounded great. In Lakewood, it was a small group of people that gathered outside to practice and demonstrate on that day. Now, in Lakewood, we do a bit more. Our event is not just a demo or practice session. Instead it is also an opportunity to teach Tai Chi and other health and wellness forms from the far east to the interested public, free of charge. Come join us prepared to learn and have a good time.
We hope you will join us for Tai Chi Day in Lakewood to take and the opportunity to learn about the many fantastic benefits that Tai Chi, and the other health forms we will be teaching, have to offer you. Join us and have a great time!
World Tai Chi Day is coming in Lakewood 2019!
